Responsibilities:

Coordinate and provide nursing care and services including:

  • Nurse delegation per OSBN
  • Complete resident health assessments
  • Monitoring of resident overall health
  • Communication with physicians and outside providers
  • Investigation of injuries involving residents or staff
  • Tracking and auditing of medication and treatment orders
  • Part of service planning team
  • Coordination of resident care
  • Participate in care conferences
  • Participate and direct quality assurance investigations
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in in-service presentations and staff meetings
  • Communicate with state and assist in surveys
  • Help foster a positive team attitude in the community
  • AND anything that helps staff coordinate consistent, quality care and service in the facility. Other items as requested by the Administrator and/or anything else that is needed to keep the facility operating smoothly.

Schedule:

  • Weekends, as needed
  • Must be willing to work in Assisted Living & Memory Care

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing and a current state license
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds, up to 30 times per shift
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
  • Commitment to the safe practices, infection control, residents' rights
  • Strong communication skills and congenial personality
