Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

โ€ข 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

โ€ข Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

โ€ข Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

โ€ข No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2-3 years Cath Lab experience with impella, telemetry, and IABP. - Must be able to independently read telemetry strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience in IR preferred.

Unit Details: - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. - Under the direction of a cardiologist, performs hemodynamic monitoring and imaging and ambulatory monitoring operation in the Cardiology department without constant supervision. - Assists with the radiologic operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab. - Performs simple troubleshooting for equipment. - Performs daily calibration and maintenance of the film processor with the use of sensitometric and densitometric equipment. - Assists with the preparation of cardiology patients having invasive procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: - No set day off. - Evening and weekend call for emergency procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driverโ€™s license required for submission

Certifications:

โ€ข RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

โ€ข (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)

โ€ข BLS (Basic Life Support)
