The team builds enterprise-wide platforms and intelligent tooling that empowers thousands of Walmart engineers to deliver high-quality software faster and more securely.What you'll do...

In this role, you will lead the applied AI strategy for developer experience, leveraging program analysis, Large Language Model (LLM) integration, and predictive feedback systems to create deeply intelligent workflows. 

You will: 

Architect AI-powered systems that analyze code, surface insights, and automate high-friction engineering tasks. 

Integrate LLMs, agentic workflows, and program analysis directly into the SDLC to improve code quality, reliability, and velocity. 

Build adaptive, self-improving workflows using telemetry, developer behavior signals, and continuous feedback loops. 

Define and drive technical strategy for applied ML across Developer Experience, influencing standards, governance, architecture, and platform direction. 

Partner with product, platform, and research teams to operationalize cutting-edge ML capabilities into scalable enterprise services. 

Mentor senior engineers and serve as a trusted technical authority on intelligent developer tooling across Walmart Global Tech. 

What You’ll Bring 

You are an experienced technical leader with a history of shaping strategy and delivering high-impact systems across large-scale engineering organizations. 

You bring: 

Deep expertise in applying AI, and program analysis to enhance software development workflows. 

Experience building ML- or LLM-powered developer tools, code intelligence systems, or agentic development workflows. 

Proven ability to architect enterprise-scale AI systems that automate or accelerate engineering tasks. 

Ability to influence and align technical strategy across multiple organizations and drive adoption of new AI-powered capabilities. 

Strong programming and systems engineering skills (e.g., Python, Java, Go), with hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, and developer tooling. 

Excellent communication and leadership abilities, including mentoring senior engineers and partnering effectively across product, platform, and research teams. 

A builder mindset focused on innovation, measurable outcomes, secure design, and scalable platform delivery.
