What are some common challenges faced by telemarketing professionals working in Spanish, and how can they overcome them?

Telemarketing professionals working in Spanish often encounter challenges such as language barriers with non-native speakers, cultural differences in communication styles, and managing customer objections effectively. To overcome these challenges, it's important to continuously improve language proficiency, stay up-to-date with cultural nuances, and participate in regular training focused on objection handling and persuasive communication. Collaborating closely with team members and supervisors can also provide valuable feedback and support for refining sales techniques tailored to Spanish-speaking audiences.

To excel as a Telemarketing Representative in Spanish, you need fluency in Spanish, persuasive communication skills, and a basic understanding of sales techniques. Outstanding listening skills, resilience, and a positive attitude help set top performers apart in this role. These competencies are crucial for building rapport, handling objections, and consistently achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.

Job description

Experienced & Entry-Level | High Commission Potential | 200+ Calls/Day | Part-Time & Full-Time

Location: Manassas, VA

About Us

We are a fast-growing Allstate Insurance agency seeking motivated Bilingual Spanish/English Telemarketers. Our team helps clients protect their families and assets through auto, home, condo, and renters insurance.

This role is perfect for:

  • Experienced telemarketers or sales professionals

  • College students seeking part-time income

  • Stay-at-home moms looking for flexible work

Top performers may receive licensing assistance (not paid) and can grow into a licensed insurance agent role with long-term career growth.

Position Overview

As a Telemarketer, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your job is to engage prospects, generate interest, qualify leads, and transfer qualified prospects to licensed agents.

This is a high-volume outbound calling role — 200+ calls/day — with no warm leads.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, providing flexibility for students, stay-at-home parents, or anyone looking to supplement their income.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make 200+ outbound calls per day

  • Deliver professional scripts in English and Spanish

  • Build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively

  • Identify and qualify potential insurance leads for transfer to licensed agents

  • Accurately log all call activity and outcomes in CRM

  • Follow up with potential clients when appropriate

  • Collaborate with team members to optimize scripts and sales strategies

  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and persistent attitude

Expectations

  • High-volume calling: 200+ calls/day

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals

  • Represent our agency with professionalism and enthusiasm

  • Handle rejections positively and maintain persistence

  • Participate in team collaboration and training

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: Spanish & English (Required)

  • Telemarketing or call center experience preferred, but motivated college students and stay-at-home moms welcome

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and commission-driven

  • Reliable, consistent, and able to follow scripts and processes

Compensation

  • $15–$18 per hour + strong commission potential

  • Weekly and monthly performance bonuses

  • Opportunity to grow into a licensed agent role

  • Licensing assistance available for top performers (not paid licensing)

Schedule

  • Full-Time and Part-Time roles available

  • Monday–Friday

  • Flexible hours for part-time applicants, college students, and stay-at-home parents

Why Join Our Team?

  • Competitive hourly pay with high commission upside

  • Flexible scheduling ideal for students and stay-at-home parents

  • Scripts, training, and support provided

  • Career growth path to a licensed agent role

  • Supportive, fast-paced, high-energy team environment
