They typically work in call centers or remotely, following scripts to engage with clients, answer questions, and attempt to make sales or set appointments. Telemarketers may work for a variety of industries and are often responsible for meeting specific sales or outreach targets. Their role requires good communication skills, resilience in handling rejections, and the ability to quickly learn about the products or services they represent.
