About the Job
Summary of Position:
Help connect patients, families, and care teams through innovative virtual care.
Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday from 8AM - 4:30PM
MedStar Health is seeking a compassionate, tech-savvy Telehealth Technology Coordinator at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. This position supports telehealth and connected-care services within our hospitals. In this hands-on role, you will bring telehealth technology directly to patients' bedsides, coordinate virtual visits, and help ensure a seamless experience for patients, families, providers, and clinical teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and technology while making a meaningful impact on the patient experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate bedside telehealth services, including remote consultations and rounding, family video visits, virtual interpretation, and remote patient-monitoring enrollment.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain telehealth devices in collaboration with clinical teams, Information Services, Nursing Informatics, and other partners.
  • Respond to telehealth requests, assess stakeholder needs, coordinate patient flow, and provide timely support to patients, providers, and hospital staff.
  • Document telehealth activities accurately, identify barriers, and contribute to service improvements that enhance the patient and provider experience.
  • Deliver compassionate, professional support while following patient-safety, infection-control, privacy, and PPE protocols.

Minimal Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in a clinical or customer-service environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and comfort working in a hospital setting.
  • Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot basic technology concerns.
  • Ability to think critically, manage competing priorities, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort donning and removing PPE when entering and exiting patient isolation rooms.

*Relevant education and professional experience may be considered in accordance with the position's equivalency requirements.

USD $20.57 - USD $36.27 /Hr.
