DescriptionJOB SUMMARY

Works collaboratively with users of clinical information systems, including nurses, physicians, ancillary staff, management, and information systems analysts. Responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems. Utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to determine clinical functions that are suitable for computer application and to ensure the Information systems are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice. Consults with and assists users in making the most effective use of computer applications through training, file maintenance, testing, system monitoring, and problem resolution. Assist in developing departmental policies and standards related to use of systems and software.

Position RequirementsJOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION
  • Nursing Degree, Information Systems, Degree in Health Informatics, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • 3–5 years of EHR Clinical System Support Required. MEDITECH Experience Preferred
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in clinical systems (EHRs) and data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with clinical and IT teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for improving healthcare delivery through technology.
