Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Facilities Planner - Level 3 to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. No relocation is available. Relocation is not available.
The selected Facilities Planner Level 3 will plan and coordinate all phases of office space infrastructure, modifications, and building projects from establishment of design concepts through test fits, and implementation.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support space planning efforts as a primary contact for any office space requests.
  • Ensure projects and tasks are completed per standards.
  • Initiate Purchase Requisitions and tracks Purchase Orders, submittals, and Change Notices.
  • Support Construction Engineer coordinating the work of employees and contractors assigned to a project.
  • Coordinate employee moves, updates Archibus system, and generates monthly reports on space utilization.
  • Coordinate and administer hoteling offices for hybrid employees.
  • Create and update as-built floor plans as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 1 year of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Experience in Facilities Planning and construction processes.
  • Experience in reading and analyzing construction documents.
  • Experience in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Project, etc.)
  • Experience using CAD software.
  • Experience using real estate asset management, and booking software such as Agile Quest, and Archibus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of design process and application of graphic design tools.
  • Knowledge of design parameters and guidelines, application of Life Safety, ADA and EHS codes.
  • Experience working with Facilities Managers, Engineers, and Project/Construction Managers.

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
