Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor - Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA.

This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Manufacturing Expeditor serves as the primary customer interface of the CS section, as well as the Engineering Asset Management (EAM) department, executing recall and disbursement of Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) with the end user and the calibration labs. Working daily with internal customers, strategic organizational partners, external vendors/suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), the Manufacturing Expeditor ensures equipment is managed and transported safely, in the most effective manner possible, between customers/end-users and metrology services activities.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will: Expediting, routing, and dispatching test equipment, materials and ancillary components in support of specified Areas of Operation within their purview Responsible for test equipment accountability, control, pick-up and delivery to and from end-users (customers) Consistent communication with customers for status and recall of test equipment and ancillary components Coordination of pick-up/deliveries and all applicable processing of and database updates in the Test Equipment Asset Management and Metrology System (TEAMMS), Calibration Management System Accountable for reviewing and managing workload based on daily Coordinator Performance Reports, ensuring performance metrics remain within specific thresholds Maintain excellent database integrity via inventory reconciliation of equipment between TEAMMS database, Pool/Stock Inventory and customer Areas of Operation Other duties as assigned Other duties as assigned If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team. This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4. Basic Qualifications for Level 3: High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. Requires an active U.S

Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access Ability to frequently move and position/reposition objects weighing up to 50lbs Military Logistics, Maintenance Management or Aerospace industry inventory and/or Supply Support experience required, e.g. warehousing, stockroom, customer service support Valid California State Driver's License; Class C for driving NG vehicles. Willingness to change physical work locations based on operational need Basic Qualifications for Level 4: High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
