Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor - Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA.

This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Manufacturing Expeditor serves as the primary customer interface of the CS section, as well as the Engineering Asset Management (EAM) department, executing recall and disbursement of Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) with the end user and the calibration labs. Working daily with internal customers, strategic organizational partners, external vendors/suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), the Manufacturing Expeditor ensures equipment is managed and transported safely, in the most effective manner possible, between customers/end-users and metrology services activities.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will: Expediting, routing, and dispatching test equipment, materials and ancillary components in support of specified Areas of Operation within their purview Responsible for test equipment accountability, control, pick-up and delivery to and from end-users (customers) Consistent communication with customers for status and recall of test equipment and ancillary components Coordination of pick-up/deliveries and all applicable processing of and database updates in the Test Equipment Asset Management and Metrology System (TEAMMS), Calibration Management System Accountable for reviewing and managing workload based on daily Coordinator Performance Reports, ensuring performance metrics remain within specific thresholds Maintain excellent database integrity via inventory reconciliation of equipment between TEAMMS database, Pool/Stock Inventory and customer Areas of Operation Other duties as assigned Other duties as assigned If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
