Job description

Role

Responsible for leading the daily operations of RMCare Talent Solutions and to ensure consistent communication and professionalism amongst all areas.ย  The operations manager is expected to remain fully trained in multiple areas of Talent Solutions daily operations, including but not limited to, agency scheduling, payroll, human resources, license verification and new employee onboarding.ย  The operations manager will screen resumes, conduct interviews and make hiring decisions.ย  They will establish team goals, drive accountability, serve as an escalation point, and ensure team has access to proper tools and training to be successful.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Daily operations
  • Conduct prospective employee interviews
  • Onboard newly hired employees
  • Verify license status of nurses and certified nurse assistants (DOPL)
  • Manage Payroll
  • Verify accuracy of submitted timecards
  • Compensation and benefits
  • Human Resources
  • Hold staff accountable for operational performance
  • Ensure new employees are fully trained and ready for facility responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to help business grow
  • Employee engagement
  • Provide facility feedback to director and agency staff
  • Maintain compliance in all business activities
  • Act as a backup for agency staff coordinator
  • Meet with Director of Operations to discuss operational issues and needs
  • Work with staffing coordinator to determine staffing needs and productivity levels
  • Continually looking to optimize processes
  • Order operational supplies
  • Other work-related duties as assigned

Performance Measurements

Maintain current knowledge of processes in multiple areas of RMCare Talent Solutions operation.

Manage the performance of agency staff including staff coordinators, nurses, and CNAโ€™s and ensure their performance is to company and agency standards.

Maintain business needs and communicate any issues to the Director of Operations.

Handle escalated issues, such as facility complaints about agency staff, no shows, or any other issues brought to the attention of management.ย 

Establishes best practices as well as policy and procedures for business to follow.

ย ย ย Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience

Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience in a management role; previous

experience in a Medical Staffing Agency preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelorโ€™s degree in a

related field preferred

Interpersonal Skills

The ability to motivate, influence or persuade others is a material or major part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position. Work frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion, problem solving and resolving issues impacting RMCare Talent Solutions.

Physical Requirements

Requires effective communication with customers and/or other employees using common telecommunications equipment and computer equipment. Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents. May require the ability to sit, stand, and walk around for extended periods of time. May also require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
