  • Provide strategic leadership, executive oversight, and operational direction for installation and maintenance activities across New York State
  • Lead a large, multi-tiered field operations organization supporting Verizon Consumer, Business, Wholesale, and Enterprise customers
  • Oversee installation and repair of POTS, Fios, HSI, Special Services, and CPE
  • Direct end-to-end service delivery and activation across complex customer services
  • Establish preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize network uptime
  • Enforce SLA compliance and minimize mean-time-to-repair across outside plant and customer premise facilities
  • Establish quality control frameworks, standardized field workflows, and operational metrics
  • Reduce repeat trouble reports and improve first-time resolution rates and customer experience
  • Define and execute long-term market-wide I&M service delivery strategy
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and career growth pathways for field operations talent
  • Cultivate collaborative union partnerships
  • Build, forecast, and manage multi-million-dollar annual operational budgets
  • Drive cost efficiencies and optimize truck-roll productivity

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree desired
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications operations
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of large-footprint carrier networks and systems
  • Extensive technical knowledge of Verizon infrastructure and Fiber Engineering & Operations footprint systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of FE&O field organization operations and coordination to install, test, and maintain network technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge of installation, testing, and repair in outside plant telecom environments
  • Experience with Fios, underground/aerial fiber design, copper/POTS infrastructure, optical distribution networks, and high-speed internet
  • Wireless experience is a plus
  • 7+ years of relevant supervisory experience managing multi-tiered leadership teams
  • Proven track record leading large field and engineering teams in heavily unionized environments
  • Demonstrated success handling complex labor relations, navigating union grievance processes, working directly with union officials, and interpreting collective bargaining policies
  • Advanced knowledge of cost estimating, budget preparation, and schedule performance for large CapEx/OpEx projects
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize complex data, build strategic recommendations, and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Must work within the territory
