Engage with partners to understand integration needs, define product integration points, and translate those requirements into technical development plans that support alignment with the Red Hat Ecosystem strategy and enable delivery of joint solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Evaluate partner and platform components for compatibility with Red Hat technologies, assess their suitability for targeted customer use cases, and provide strategic recommendations to ensure optimal integration and performance.

  • Act as a subject matter expert representative for both the Red Hat product portfolio and partner products, understanding the product purpose, functionality, impact to joint customers, and roadmap information.

  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and partner engineering teams to define the required platform components across RHEL, OpenShift, OpenStack and ecosystem integrations that ensure customer and partner use cases are fully supported, including identifying dependencies, validating requirements, and guiding teams toward the optimal technical solution.

  • Establish and lead the engineering-to-engineering collaboration between Red Hat and partners.

  • Organize and lead roadmap review and planning forums between Red Hat and partner technical teams.

  • Guide partners in overcoming technical development and testing challenges.

  • Guide partners through the validated installation, configuration, quick guides targeted towards integration of Red Hat platforms, ensuring their hardware, drivers, and applications meet Red Hat's engineering, certification, and supportability requirements.

  • Lead cross-functional engineering reviews to ensure Red Hat platforms and partner integrations meet enterprise-grade standards for stability, interoperability, security, and scalability, guiding teams to identify risks, validate architecture decisions, and drive resolution across product and ecosystem stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with Red Hat engineering and partner teams to validate that software updates, fixes, and platform changes function correctly across partner solutions, oversee testing requirements, reviewing results, and ensuring any compatibility or regression issues are identified and resolved before release.

  • Lead regular partner interlocks with Red Hat Ecosystem stakeholders, ensuring alignment of joint products and solutions.

  • Work with partners to create go-to market collaterals, presentations, white papers, and blogs to promote the outcomes of the collaboration with Red Hat and its partners.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering Technology or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

  • Must have five (5) years of experience with: managing partner escalations and customer success metrics; and technical support engineering, partner engineering, or network solutions engineering in cloud or telecom domains.

  • Must have five (5) years of direct engagement experience with strategic partners or customers in technical planning and issue resolution.

  • Must have five (5) years of experience as an OpenStack and Kubernetes team lead.

  • Must have four (4) years of experience seeking out technical understanding and strategic buy-in with senior engineering and/or business leaders.

  • Must have three (3) years of experience with: designing and deploying virtualized network functions (VNFs) and working with OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, and major cloud providers; and leading discussions with technology partners to discuss roadmap alignment and engineering-to-engineering collaboration.

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
