RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver hands-on support for desktops, laptops, and network systems in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Manage system security, passwords, and data integrity to safeguard critical operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Configure wireless devices for secure connectivity to corporate O365 email.
  • Execute software installations, updates, and configurations based on ticketing workflows.
  • Independently image, configure, and deploy new PCs across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of PC inventory, assets, and support queues.
  • Support phone systems and assist with user training on applications and tools.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk leadership and outsourcing partners to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Test and recommend new software and operating systems for deployment.
  • Participate in IT projects aimed at improving end-user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Setting: On-site role at Advanced Energy Headquarters
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Flexibility: Occasional overtime, on-call weekends, and project-based evening work
  • Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 and TCP/IP networking.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, antivirus/security tools, and PC troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects effectively.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years in IT support roles with hands-on technical expertise.
  • Proven experience supporting Microsoft PC environments and remote users via VPN.

EDUCATION:

  • Preferred: A+ certification, MCP, and Windows 10/11 certification

COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $25 to $35 per hour.
