Additional Responsibilities

In addition to supervising field operations, the Low Voltage Superintendent / Construction Project Manager will:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise all phases of commercial low voltage construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
  • Lead and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Procore or other approved scheduling software.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials, equipment, and specialty products are delivered according to project schedules.
  • Review and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Manage and track project budgets, labor productivity, equipment utilization, and project costs.
  • Prepare, review, and process change orders and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Conduct project meetings with clients, owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality standards.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion, final inspections, as-built documentation, warranties, O&M manuals, and turnover packages.
  • Maintain effective communication with executive leadership by providing regular project status reports, schedule updates, and budget forecasts.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop field employees while promoting accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing commercial Low Voltage construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising multiple crews and subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Division 27 (Communications) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety & Security Systems).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, shop drawings, and technical documents.
  • Experience managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, owners, consultants, and executive leadership.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
