Job description

HM Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Telecom Technicians to join our growing team. If you have experience installing, testing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cabling.
  • Pull, route, and secure telecommunications cables.
  • Install and troubleshoot network, voice, and data equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
  • Perform cable testing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Ensure all work meets customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Telecom Technician or Structured Cabling Technician preferred.
  • Experience with fiber optics, Cat5e/Cat6, and low-voltage systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with cable testing equipment and termination standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and in various weather conditions.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required
