A Day In The Life

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Lead the design and development process, integrating inputs from various teams to create cohesive and functional designs.
  • Develop and execute verification tests to ensure systems meet customer requirements.
  • Manage the overall system quality, performance, and timely delivery.
  • Address and resolve field complaints and supply chain issues effectively.
  • Document processes and results in accordance with established guidelines.


What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine system designs.
  • Implementing strategic tests and analyzing data to validate system performance.
  • Innovating solutions to enhance system reliability and functionality.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience as a Test Engineer, or five years in a related role such as Electronics Engineer, with hands-on experience at both system and board levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in C#, RF electronics design, and manufacturing down to the component level.
  • Strong understanding of DFMA/DFT principles, schematic capture, and circuit design.
  • Experience with hardware or test fixture design, microprocessor application development, and familiarity with TCP/IP and other communication/network protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to document and convey complex issues clearly.
  • SQL experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% by air or land.

Frequent walking and sitting as part of the daily routine.
