Connectivity Solutions, an Orbia business, is seeking a driven and technically minded Inside Sales Representative to grow business across an assigned territory and customer portfolio. This remote Texas-based role partners closely with the District Sales Manager and Commercial Team to develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, support sales growth, and deliver outstanding customer service. This individual contributor will connect with customers by phone and digital channels, develop new opportunities, recommend high-value solutions, and support an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, competitive, adaptable, collaborative, and able to balance strategic territory ownership with high-volume daily execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own and grow existing and assigned accounts within the territory; prioritize opportunities, develop sales plans, build a consistent pipeline, and achieve assigned sales and financial performance metrics
• Proactively prospect and engage potential customers, develop key contacts, establish credibility, and build consultative relationships with new and established accounts
• Understand customer needs and recommend technically appropriate products or solutions; identify barriers to closing business and balance customer satisfaction with company objectives
• Drive and follow up on small-order, quote, and sales opportunities under $50,000, including customer outreach and opportunities referred by the Sales Manager
• Partner with Customer Service on pricing and quote preparation; manage a high-volume customer workload averaging 35-50 quotes and 20-30 calls and emails per day
• Provide requested on-time shipping reports, identify delivery obstacles and improvement opportunities, and escalate critical issues to plant managers, schedulers, and shippers when needed
• Conduct research, reporting, data gathering, and sales analytics; provide forecast feedback and use customer, market, and performance insights to support territory decisions
• Create promotional programs and educational materials for electronic distribution and represent the company professionally at occasional industry meetings and trade shows
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, outside sales representatives, business analysts, plant teams, and the broader Commercial organization to achieve sales and customer goals
• Work with autonomy in a dynamic territory, adapt sales approaches and priorities as conditions change, multitask efficiently, solve problems creatively, and maintain positive, flexible working relationships
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing, business, or a related technical field, with an engineering or technical background
• Entry-level professional opportunity requiring 1-3 years of technical sales and business development experience, based on territory needs and team skill gaps
• Customer service experience supporting multiple customers and a high volume of daily quotes, calls, and emails
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, planning, organization, process improvement, business acumen, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; must be technology-savvy and comfortable using computers and digital tools daily
• Experience using Excel to create tables and reports and to manage, analyze, and interpret data
• Telecom, datacom, or utility power experience is preferred
• Self-motivated, results-focused, competitive, persistent, flexible, and collaborative, with the ability to influence stakeholders and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

The compensation for this position will typically range from $53,500 - $76,000/yr.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
