  • Must have an EIT and be willing to get a PE or already have a PE
  • Would love to see someone with their SE License

Summary of What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform design & analysis for various projects supporting the general material handling industry.
  • Projects will range from foundation analysis to structural analysis of large overhead cranes and runway systems.
  • Ability to analyze complex structural systems with multiple applied load sources and loading scenarios to determine capacity and design limitations.
  • Engineer will be expected to travel 20% of the time for site visits to assess job scopes and collect data required for analysis.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate with clients and crane technicians effectively in the field to develop unique solutions for the problem at hand.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil (Structural) (Masters preferred)
  • 4 plus years’ experience (Material Handling preferred)
  • Registered P.E. or the ability and desire to become registered in this role.
  • Proficient with both FEA and standard structural analysis software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs for development of design spreadsheets and presentation of design results in a formal findings report
  • Engineering Software Experience
