Job description

The Project Manager, based in the Massachusetts market, will be responsible for the field management of wireless telecom projects across multiple clients, providing turn-key network build services to customers.
What You Will Do:
  • Incumbent should be familiar with local fiber providers and their requirements
  • Manage assigned field resources and projects to completion, ensuring that all field activities are coordinated and completed on time and within budget
  • Develop accurate project plan and budget for all assigned projects, modify as needed and ensure that accurate, complete documentation is delivered
  • Participate in internal deployment meetings with managers and team members to review the status of each job and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion.
  • Customer facing role where he/she will provide customer(s) with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained in order to deliver close-out documents to the customer in a timely manner in accordance with corporate and customer standards.
  • Create, assemble and verify documentation for billing on Sage. Understand project scope and customer service level agreements and manage to them. Document work outside of the project scope and assist Program Manager in creating change orders.
  • Ability to work with a variety of personnel.
  • Hybrid position is based in Raynham MA.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Do:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in the telecommunications, or related industry
  • 5 years of project management experience with 3+ years specific to the wireless telecom industry
  • Strong MS Office required and experience with QuickBase & Sage Software strongly desired
  • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications project management
  • Knowledge of Wireless Carriers databases a plus
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively work with heavily matrixed organization and teams
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to direct the diagnosis of workflow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
  • Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
  • Excellent communication skills

Work Environment
Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer and/or face-to-face contact, vision to monitor, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and fax machines regularly during the course of work. May be required to operate vehicle for Company business. Work is performed in and out of an office environment.

This is an exempt position with expected compensation $85,000 to $105,000 with benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual's education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job-related and consistent with business need.
