Senior Project Manager (Agile Delivery) Location: Charlotte, NC/ Plano, TX Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 7+ Years Pay - 60-65/hr About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of enterprise initiatives within a large-scale financial services environment. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader with strong Agile delivery experience, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive execution across complex, cross-functional programs. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and small programs involving multiple cross-functional teams. Define project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals. Coordinate project activities including kick-offs, sprint planning, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and governance tollgates. Monitor project health by managing schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall delivery progress. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution and timely delivery of project milestones. Facilitate dependency management, risk mitigation, and removal of delivery impediments. Provide regular project status updates, executive reporting, and communications to stakeholders and leadership. Ensure project execution meets expectations for functionality, quality, schedule, and cost. Partner closely with sponsors, business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management processes, governance standards, and organizational policies. Support resource planning and delivery execution across multiple workstreams. Contribute to portfolio-level planning and provide end-to-end oversight across related initiatives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, release planning readiness, process optimization, and project management best practices. Develop and maintain project documentation, standards, communication plans, and governance artifacts. Required Qualifications 7+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise technology or business initiatives. Proven experience managing complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and delivery teams. Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and project lifecycle management. Experience supporting portfolio-level planning and program delivery. Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement and change management initiatives. Experience leading release planning, delivery readiness, and governance activities. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage leadership at all organizational levels. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence, including experience managing delivery across multiple JIRA projects and instances. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Banking or Financial Services. Familiarity with Enterprise Change Management processes. Experience supporting PMO governance and portfolio reporting.
