Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and future project managers with hotel renovations, brand conversions, PIPs (property improvement plans), new constructions, as well as assisting with existing portfolio of hotels as it relates to facility maintenance and improvements.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Outside Plant (OSP), wireless, and network infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong background in telecommunications construction, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end project lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Manage full lifecycle of OSP, wireless, and network infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout
โ€ข Coordinate with engineering, permitting, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
โ€ข Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
โ€ข Oversee field construction activities including fiber deployment, small cell installation, tower builds, and network upgrades
โ€ข Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and safety standards
โ€ข Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
โ€ข Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
โ€ข Review and approve construction drawings, change orders, and invoices
โ€ข Conduct site visits and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
โ€ข Provide regular reporting on project status, financials, and milestones
Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
โ€ข 5+ years of project management experience in telecommunications or infrastructure construction
โ€ข Strong knowledge of OSP fiber construction, wireless deployments (macro/small cell), and network infrastructure
โ€ข Proven experience managing construction crews and subcontractors
โ€ข Familiarity with permitting processes, ROW regulations, and utility coordination
โ€ข Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
โ€ข Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Physical Demands
โ€ข Long hours are sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
โ€ข Light work-Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
โ€ข Ability to spend some time moving about the hotel overseeing the various projects.
โ€ข Valid driver's license from appropriate state and MVR in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
