Job description

Responsibilities
Related Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to support development projects across the United States. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The IT Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of low voltage design plans to meet project requirements, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure technology standards are properly configured and implemented
  • Collaborate with owners and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and specifications
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Conduct regular field walks to monitor progress and address on-site issues
  • Partner with internal and external design and engineering teams to produce design documents and material lists
  • Coordinate integration of building systems (BMS, lighting control, security, AV, etc.) and telecommunications systems with vendors
  • Perform pre-installation site reviews and ongoing site visits
  • Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontractor activities
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, issue logs, and risk registries
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Maintain strong relationships with project sponsors to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
  • Act as a liaison between deployment vendors and internal technical teams
  • Support and escalate issues related to conference room and AV technologies (e.g., Zoom and Teams)
  • Ensure all projects comply with Related's network and cybersecurity standards
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven tools and automation opportunities to improve project delivery, operational efficiency, and decision-making

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Understanding of telecom services (ISPs, VoIP, POTS)
  • Technical experience and/or knowledge of network technologies (e.g., Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto) and core networking concepts
  • Familiarity with building systems (cameras, access control, lighting, BMS, DAS, etc.)
  • Experience supporting conference room technologies (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Webex)
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience managing external consultants and vendors
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data analysis tools) and an understanding of how to apply them in project management or IT operations
  • Relevant certifications are preferred (PMP or another project management certification plus CCNA or Network+)

Hybrid Schedule:
In Office 2 days a week: Tuesday and Thursday
Remote 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
Anticipated base salary range: $115,000 - $125,000 / year
Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.
