Job description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Manage projects from order entry through completion while ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, cost, and customer requirements.
Review new orders and identify discrepancies related to estimating, timelines, specifications, or scope.
Validate technical requirements against customer specifications, quotes, drawings, and project documentation.
Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical questions and design-related issues.
Purchase materials and components based on engineering drawings and project requirements.
Manage project inventory and support indirect purchasing activities.
Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and manufacturing readiness.
Maintain accurate project records and documentation across company systems.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure schedules are met and issues are resolved efficiently.
Perform month-end invoicing activities and support general ledger reconciliation processes.
Provide backup support for payroll approvals when necessary.
Support ISO 9001 documentation requirements and maintain audit readiness.
Participate in company safety initiatives and promote safe work practices throughout project execution.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing project management, purchasing, operations, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Microsoft Office Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts, as well as Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with customers.
Problem-Solving: Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for customer, vendor, and internal meetings.
