Responsibilities

A telecom designer designs advanced telecommunication system schematics to support projects in our Venue sector, prepares design documents and performs engineering calculations in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines
Assisting in developing overall telecommunication system schematics to support projects in our Venue Sector
Assisting in the development of overall technology system design, layouts, details, rack elevations and schematics under the direction of a senior designer/engineer
Performing necessary calculations and be involved in job site visits, construction observations and/or attend client meetings
Working with architects, clients, contractors and project managers to create a successful outcome
Managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously


Qualifications

Have at least 1+ years of telecommunications design experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (ie: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of experience without degree required
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Have fiber optic and copper structured cabling system design experience
Have clear oral and written communication skills
