Job description

The role is responsible for creating net-new pipeline, building executive-level demand, and bringing Valorem Reply into more Microsoft-aligned cloud, application modernization, custom software development, data, and AI opportunities. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated record of selling complex professional services engagements and working with technical teams, Microsoft and alliance partners, and client executives to turn early-stage opportunities into signed business.
Responsibilities
  • Build and manage net-new enterprise sales pipeline focused on Azure services, application modernization, custom software development, data and AI, cloud infrastructure, and related Microsoft-based services
  • Identify, qualify, shape, and close multi-million-dollar professional services opportunities with enterprise clients
  • Develop executive relationships across business, technology, finance, operations, and industry leadership teams across a broad range of sectors to uncover demand and create credible paths to close
  • Partner with Valorem Reply solution leaders, architects, delivery leaders, and project teams to frame opportunities, develop pursuit strategy, and present differentiated client solutions
  • Work with Microsoft field teams and other alliance partners to identify co-sell opportunities, manage deal registration, and increase Valorem Reply's visibility in strategic pursuits
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecast, next steps, qualification evidence, and close plans for active opportunities
Minimum Requirements
  • 10 years of enterprise sales experience
  • 5 years of experience selling professional services, consulting, Azure, cloud services, application modernization, custom software development, data, AI, or infrastructure solutions
  • Demonstrated experience originating and closing net-new enterprise services opportunities with total contract values of $1M or greater
  • Experience selling to C-level and senior business, technology, and finance stakeholders across complex, multi-stakeholder buying groups
  • Experience working with technical, solution, or delivery teams to qualify scope, business value, delivery risk, and path to close
  • Experience managing qualified pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and opportunity progression in a CRM system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling Microsoft Azure, Data & AI, application modernization, cloud migration, DevOps, security, infrastructure modernization, or custom software development services
  • Experience working with Microsoft field teams, partner sellers, co-sell motions, marketplace, deal registration, or Microsoft partner programs
  • Existing executive and enterprise relationships across multiple industries, including manufacturing, financial services, retail, healthcare, logistics, energy, technology, or other Azure-relevant sectors
  • Experience working with solution architects or delivery teams to shape statements of work, estimates, proposals, and executive presentations
  • Track record of building pipeline in a new territory, new practice area, or underdeveloped account base

The base compensation for this full-time position is $140,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
