About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Security Specialist to support and help mature our Industrial Security program. In this role, you will manage the security of classified programs, personnel, and information in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and other U.S. Government contract requirements and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) and assist the FSO with the continual growth and maturing of the Industrial Security program.
  • Manage and ensure the security of classified programs, including personnel and information in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support both collateral level DoW programs and function as CSSO for various U.S. Government contracts as needed.
  • Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information, controlled unclassified information as well as propriety information.
  • Develops and implements procedures relating to personnel security processing, as well as access control procedures, visitor access certifications and badging.
  • Conducting required security orientation, refresher training, and security briefings for assigned personnel.
  • Process, track, file and report on foreign travel.
  • Ability to support the Insider Threat Program objectives.
  • Physical security oversight, managing and monitoring security systems, including cameras, access controls, and compliance with ICD 705 standards for secure facilities when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be willing to obtain/maintain various accesses and U.S. security clearances as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in security related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of DoW/IC security related experience.
  • Experience with FSO or CSSO role.
  • Extensive knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, SEAD's, and ICD's.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with frequently used security applications and systems to include the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), and National Industrial Security Systems (NISS).
  • Demonstrated knowledge in preparing DD Form 254s, clearance passing, and conducting security briefings and debriefings.
  • Experience in development and implementation of security education, training and awareness programs, including Insider Threat Programs.
  • Proven ability to manage security programs and ensure compliance with DoW and other customer requirements. Experience interfacing with Government customers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain membership in Industrial Security professional organizations, i.e. NCMS.
  • Experience in SCIF construction and management is a plus.
