Location :- Decatur, IL (Onsite)
Job Type :- Full Time
Role Summary/Purpose Internal
The Coos Weld Engineer demonstrates the capability of communicating, developing, executing program schedules, process developments, and analysis in various organizational settings regarding internal and external business goals. In this role you will utilize your experience to program new products, troubleshoot, maintain efficiency and support coos automated welding equipment and tooling where applicable.
Essential Responsibilities
• Develop technical manuals, drawings, models, training documents, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshoot guides for automated equipment and automated processes.
• Support the validation of the Coos robotic welding equipment operations
• Support CAPA initiatives and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Coordinate Preventative Maintenance initiatives and communicate daily department activities.
• Interface with a variety of automated equipment and drive controls solutions to eliminate defects, improve cycle times, reduce machine downtime
• Support and develop welding process parameters, equipment controls requirements and specifications using your Coos robot programing skills.
• Support design engineers qualifying complex automation controls solutions and applications.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to the operation of the automation equipment.
• Support New Product Development automation needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
• B.S in Engineering or a Technical Practice.
• Coos Robot integration in a live manufacturing setting.
• Proven Robot welding Processes and Procedures.
• Knowledge of AWS Welding Standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications, word, excel ect

• Capability to work in teams
• Robotic Manufacturing Experience in multiple Applications.
