Senior Manager (Matawan, NJ - Telecommuting Role) - Full Time:
Serve as a technical expert on solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. Analyze the functionality and constraints of recommended solution across multiple systems/platforms/applications. Scan the technology requirements of market, participate in product development activities, represent in customer / marketing forums to increase brand awareness. Ensure compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of solution architecture. Design and deliver complex solutions as per customer
requirements. Work with various stakeholders including sales team, products team, engineering team to jointly assess customer requirements. Support the Product team through the product development lifecycle and provide inputs on product features from a business requirements/customer perspective. Work with clients, internal stakeholders to provide integrated solution architecture across multiple products to meet the client requirements. Provide an expertise to internal teams and/or external vendors and partners to design complex solutions and ensure effective delivery of the same. Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts. Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices. Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout complete lifecycle (Pre-sales, Delivery, Support). 10% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted. Reporting to Matawan, NJ HQ.
Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field and 8 years of related experience required. Three (3) years of experience must include: 5G/4G RAN architecture, RF parameter tuning, and cluster-level optimization using KPIs such as SINR, RSRP, RSRQ, CQI, and PRB utilization; Design, integration, and testing of Open RAN (ORAN) and Virtualized RAN (vRAN) systems aligned with 3GPP, ORAN Alliance, and Telecom Infra Project (TIP) standards; Implementing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines for telecom product development, sprint planning, and automated testing; Directing RF planning, site readiness, and on-air testing
(E911, data, and voice) for macro/small cell deployments in dense urban and high-rise environments; Continuous monitoring and tuning of RAN KPIs for cluster performance analysis, load balancing, and handover optimization; Private 5G network architecture and RU/CU/DU automation, per ORAN, TIP, and TMForum automation guidelines; Evaluating telecom vendors/tools, supporting partner onboarding, and preparing competitive RFP/RFI responses and solution proposals; Working across multiple vendors' Element Management Systems (EMS) and Network Management Systems (NMS) for RAN operations and optimization; Overseeing telecom software products across lifecycle stages-from market research and concept design to launch and enhancements; and Reviewing proof-of-concepts and field trials in RF design and optimization, driving next-gen product validation and network automation initiatives. Experience must also include: Atoll and Xirio for network simulation, design, and coverage/capacity planning; and Leading full-stack telecom software projects including mock UI design, user story creation, and integration testing for RAN and router-based functions. 10%domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted. Reporting to Matawan, NJ HQ.
Base Salary Range: $149,565 - $196,678. The salary may be adjusted within this range based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the specific needs of the position
