Job description

Job Summary:
Mapjects is a leading centralized operations portal for small and mid sized businesses. They are seeking two talented and motivated Javascript developers to perform functions such as feature development, data visualization, and UI improvements.
Responsibilities:
• includes recommendations (for e.g. exp on changing framework, ASP MVC to Node/Angular), feature development, web workflows, data visualization, interactive charts, portals extensions, widgets.
• Display job specific information in the status UI.
• File Upload progress UI for each file being uploaded to the server, Support drag and drop of files in the UI
• Language selection settings.
• Use Knockout JS for the entire UI and implement the MVVM methodology in the entire UI code.
• Clean up existing script code (e.g., use proper naming conventions for variables rather than naming them “I”, “j”….).
• Defects fixing.
• Update UI library versions (e.g. jQuery, jQuery UI, jqGrid) when new versions come out.
• Validate that the updates made do not break the UI.
• Write unit tests for all UI code using QUnit.
• Interact with the Shanghai test team for web app UI features and known issues.
• Demo new features to team members.
