Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a professional and empathetic rapport with clients, creating a safe space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Lead engaging therapeutic sessions for individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities suited to specific challenges faced by clients.
• Regularly schedule and conduct follow-up sessions to monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to support their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists as needed, referring clients to additional resources to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Marriage and Family Therapist will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families of varying ages and backgrounds. You will address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, and life transitions, with the ultimate goal of empowering clients to lead more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• An active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is a mandatory requirement.
• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or group therapy in clinical settings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective workload management to meet client needs efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which foster a therapeutic environment conducive to healing.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using teletherapy platforms and familiarity with virtual counseling protocols.
• Specialization or certifications in family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or other therapeutic modalities relevant to this role.
• A background in working with diverse populations, addressing cultural, socioeconomic, and accessibility issues in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
