What does a tele remote do?

A typical workday as a Tele Remote operator involves remotely controlling heavy machinery, such as loaders or drills, from a secure off-site location using specialized tele-remote control systems and video monitoring equipment. Operators communicate constantly with on-site personnel to stay updated on operational changes, troubleshoot any equipment issues, and ensure safety standards are met. You may have scheduled shifts and often work in a team alongside engineers and site safety coordinators, relying heavily on precision and attention to detail. This role provides hands-on problem-solving opportunities while minimizing exposure to physical worksite hazards.

To thrive as a Tele Remote (Tele-Remote Equipment Operator), you need a strong understanding of remote operations technology, mechanical aptitude, and relevant industry experience—often gained in mining, construction, or heavy equipment sectors.
