Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with clients to create a safe space for open communication.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relational issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client, incorporating therapeutic modalities that best fit their situation.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with individuals and groups, employing evidence-based techniques to address mental health challenges and promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor progress through regular check-ins and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on assessments and client feedback.
• Document all sessions accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when referrals to specialists are needed for additional support or interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals facing a variety of mental health issues, families navigating relational challenges, and couples working to strengthen their partnerships. You will engage with a diverse population that may include varying age groups, socio-economic backgrounds, and cultural perspectives, requiring both cultural competency and adaptability in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience providing individual and/or group therapy is preferred.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills to effectively manage caseloads and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with teletherapy and digital health platforms is advantageous.
• Specializations in areas such as trauma, addiction, or children and adolescents may enhance your application.
• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
