Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity Near Dodge City, KS (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine (EM) Physician for a locum tenens assignment near Dodge City, KS. This role is ideal for a physician who is board-certified and proficient in emergency medicine procedures, looking for a long-term locum opportunity with flexibility in shift scheduling. The position involves scheduled clinical hours only, no call, and offers both day and night shifts to suit your availability.

This opportunity is available ASAP with an ongoing need, and the initial contract length is between 6-12 months. Credentialing will take 90-120 days, so applicants should plan accordingly. Assignment Details:
  • Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
  • Contract Length: 6-12 months
  • Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts; both day and night shifts available
  • Minimum Shifts: 3-6 shifts per month, with a minimum of 60 hours of shifts per month
  • Shift Times: 6 AM - 6 PM or 7 AM - 7 PM
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Patient Volume: Percentage of admitted patients is approximately 16.48%
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with backup specialties such as:
    • General Surgery
    • Pediatrics
    • Ob/Gyn
    • Orthopedics
    • Tele-Nephrology, Tele-Neurology, Heme/Onc
    • Urology
    • Cardiology
  • Perform necessary emergency procedures as required.
  • No APP supervision is required, and there is no scribe support.
Certification & Licensing Requirements:
  • Board Certifications: Required in ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM with procedural skills and EM experience.
  • Licensing: Must hold a state license; licensure support available if needed.
  • Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS are not required.
  • EM Experience: Physicians must be trained in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with procedural skills.
