Client rates reduced by #/hour.* Unit Radiation Oncology # of beds Ambulatory/outpatient setting only Ratios Required Certifications BLS, Radiation Oncology Nurse Certified preferred but not required EMR Cerner, Aria Common diagnoses/Types of patients Prostate Cancer, Head & Neck Cancers, Breast cancers, Metastatic disease, Lung cancer, Brain, Skin, Lymphoma, Mesothelioma Experience or 'Must have' skills Peripheral IV insertion, Power Port access and de-access. Contrast infusion during CT. Knowledge to Triage for contrast reaction. Knowledge of assessing for Radiation side effects and patient education helpful. Are RNs required to titrate drips? Set rate Common titratable &/or set rate drips 999 IV Hydration Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?
