Busy Medical Office Receptionist Position

Job Duties:

*Answering and directing calls

*Rescheduling patient appointment when necessary

*Recall of patients who have missed or cancelled their appointments

*Checking in patients by: verifying demographics, collecting their insurance cards/ID/patient paperwork

*Directing incoming faxes to the appropriate department

*Collecting copays and deductibles from patient prior to visit or testing

*Notifying patient of referrals required and obtaining them by the visit date

Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
