Job Summary
The Intake Coordinator will collaborate and partner with the admissions team to assist in the intake and admissions process for clients being admitted into a program for treatment services. This position is the first point of contact with clients, following the application and referral process.


Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Greet clients as they are entering a treatment program.
Create a client/customer focused experience for all clients seeking treatment services.
Facilitate the intake process to ensure appropriate treatment for all potential clients.
Assist clients with required paperwork during the intake & admissions process.
Ensure clients who are meeting with remote staff are placed on telehealth technology.
Walk clients back to medical services, if needed for ambulatory withdrawal.
Clearly communicate with admission team to ensure clients are moving through the intake and admissions process as quickly as possible.
Log into the admissions call que to answer calls between appointments.
Manage and screen all walk-in appointments.
Cover front desk, as needed.


Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.
Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental health and addiction.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage time.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and leadership.
The ability to live and work by MnTC’s culture of honor & core values – practicing compassion, hospitality, respect, integrity, servanthood, and trust.
Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11 (including understanding of client rights). Reference: Sec. 245G.11 MN Statutes
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.

Target Compensation Range (Negotiable based on Qualifications):

$19.00-$20.00/hour
