To thrive in Technology Transformation, you need a solid background in IT strategy, project management, and change management, often supported by a degree in computer science, information systems, or business. Familiarity with digital transformation frameworks, cloud platforms, enterprise software (like SAP or Salesforce), and certifications such as PMP or Agile are highly valued. The Opportunity

Ready to lead transformations that deliver value? Adobe is looking for a highimpact Director Finance and Technology Transformation to drive large-scale initiatives from build to value realization. This role sits at the heart of Adobe's most important transformations. High visibility and real impact!

At the crossroads of people, process, and technology, this leader will guide the orchestration layer of transformation. This role includes aligning priorities, managing complex initiatives step-by-step, and enabling important decisions across a linked organization. You will advise senior executives, influence strategic direction, identify key trade-offs, and promote harmony between internal leaders and external System Integrator (SI) partners.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading complex, global transformations and excels at navigating matrixed environments to translate high-level strategy into measurable business outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Define and drive the overarching strategy, ensuring every initiative is anchored to Adobe's long-term business priorities and value-creation targets.

  • Link enterprise objectives across front and back-office functions to outline scope, highlight essential trade-offs, and support informed executive decision-making.

  • Partner with executive leadership to secure early agreement on strategic outcomes, success metrics, and value realization.

  • Influence high-stakes discussions across multiple functions while balancing speed, risk, and long-term impact.

  • Establish decision forums and prioritization frameworks that resolve bottlenecks, manage cross-team dependencies, and keep work moving at pace.

  • Translate intricate business and technical challenges into clear priorities, actionable achievements, and rigorous success metrics.

  • Operate with high credibility in a matrixed environment, getting results through expertise and relationship-building instead of relying on formal authority.

  • Partner with functional and change management leaders to build readiness strategies and communication plans that ensure long-term adoption.

  • Encourage a culture of shared ownership through clear role definition, consistent communication, and relentless follow-through.

What you need to succeed

  • 12-15+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional transformations or large-scale strategic operations within complex, global organizations.

  • Proven ability to engage at the C-suite and SVP level, driving high-stakes decisions and navigating matrixed environments through expert influence rather than formal authority.

  • Outstanding ability to convey complex technical or business challenges into clear, executive-ready narratives that build consensus.

  • Excellent strategic judgment and emotional intelligence, with experience navigating organizational dynamics and competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, surface critical trade-offs early, and foster alignment before issues arise
