As the IT Solutions Consultant for M2 Technology, you will be an integral part of a growing and highly skilled IT services team. This is an exciting role that offers you the opportunity to both collaborate and help build the M2 Technology organization, while also being able to apply your technical skills with your very own customer accounts. This role is perfect for a high-energy individual who can function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities progressing at one time.
Who is M2 Technology?
M2 Technology is an IT services company based in Green Bay Wisconsin. We proudly serve over 130 customers within the state of Wisconsin, including our affiliated company M2 Logistics (located in Green Bay WI, Denver CO, and Salt Lake City UT).
M2 Technology provides IT consulting and technical support services to a variety of customers and covering a vast range of functional areas including but not limited to infrastructure/LAN design and implementation, hardware procurement, cyber security, data backups, remote monitoring, as well as fully outsourced IT solutions. In the IT Solutions Manager role, you will get the opportunity to work in all these functional areas, and provide leadership, critical thinking, and decision making within a business setting.
Main Accountabilities:
  • Provide support, and guidance to M2's help desk team and consulting engineers
  • Grow and manage a book of active clients, build the relationship, and ensure that they are receiving excellent service and support
  • Provide technical consulting, design, and implementation of IT solutions to your clients
  • Troubleshoot customer needs on a daily basis, apply critical thinking, and provide solutions
  • Work with M2's help desk support team to ensure customers are getting excellent customer service
  • Help M2 teammates with back-up coverage for their clients as needed
  • Ability to communicate technical services to an audience that may not have a technical background
  • Take the initiative to remain educated on changes or advancements in technology and how they can be leveraged in the business and/or with our clients
  • Project scheduling management
  • Product solution identification and development - ability to take the initiative to remain educated on changes or advancements in technology and how they can be leveraged in the business and/or with our clients
  • Participate in disaster recovery efforts
  • Provide timely and professional support to all internal/external customers and vendors
  • Prioritize regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame

Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to understand customer needs and design / implement IT solutions accordingly
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and teammate relationships and work within all levels of an organization
  • Experience designing and managing network infrastructure
  • Firewalls and infrastructure security
  • Data storage and backup solutions
  • Remote monitoring software and procedures
  • IT asset management protocols
  • Strong analytical and process skills
  • Experience building SharePoint sites, PowerApps, and low code automated processes
  • Enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment with multiple priorities
  • Identify trends in data and make recommendations for change
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot new, unique issues

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in the associated job duties and essential functions
  • Excellent communication and listening skills are required
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to build and convey business insight through data and reporting
  • Solid understanding IT infrastructure and hardware
  • Must be willing to support customers after-hours as needed
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure, in a quickly changing environment
  • Ability to travel locally to customers (within ~2 hour radius typically) about 20-50% of the time
