Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a IT Procurement Manager

IT Procurement Manager (Overland Park, KS - Onsite)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

·        Acts as the bridge between suppliers and internal teams, driving efficiency and innovation across assigned commodity groups through analysis, negotiation, and cross functional collaboration.

·        Strategy Development

·        Create and implement global/divisional sourcing strategies and portfolio roadmaps for IT Spend Portfolios, including demand shaping, supply market analysis, and multi year plans.

·        Supplier Management

·        Identify, select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with key suppliers; establish Vendor Management rituals, QBRs, and joint improvement initiatives in partnership with the Vendor Relationship Management Team.

·        Cost Optimization

o   Perform cost analysis, TCO/should cost modeling, benchmarking, and deliver year over year savings and value realization (savings, cost avoidance, productivity, rebates, credits).

·        Risk Management

o   Assess and mitigate supply base risks (financial, geopolitical, cybersecurity, ESG); drive dual sourcing, contractual protections, and business continuity plans.

·        Cross Functional Collaboration

o   Partner with Operations, Legal, Finance, InfoSec, Architecture/Engineering, and Business Stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with the strategy, objectives, and compliance requirements.

·        Performance Tracking

o   Monitor supplier and internal performance in accordance with portfolio KPIs; ensure SLA adherence and continuous improvement.

·        Portfolio Focus

o   Leverage enterprise wide spend to achieve scale efficiencies and synergies across related categories; create category playbooks and standardized toolkits (RFx templates, evaluation criteria, negotiation levers).

·        Sourcing Execution

o   Lead end to end RFx events, negotiations, and contracting (NDA, MSA, SOW, DPA, CO); ensure terms reflect commercial objectives, risk posture, and service level commitments.

·        Governance & Compliance

o   Maintain contract lifecycle controls; enforce policy, delegated authorities, and approval workflows; support audit readiness and regulatory requirements.

·        Data & Analytics

o   Use spend analytics, market intelligence, and scenario modeling to inform strategies; track benefits realization and variance to plan.

·        Innovation & Sustainability

o   Advance supplier enabled innovation, diversity programs, and sustainability goals; pilot new technologies and business models where relevant.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

·        Demonstrated expertise in RFx management, complex contract negotiation, TCO analysis, and supplier performance management.

·        Proficiency with eSourcing, contract lifecycle, and P2P platforms; strong Excel/analytics and financial acumen.

·        Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change leadership skills; ability to influence at multiple levels.

·        Risk management mindset with experience implementing mitigation strategies across a supply base.

·        Industry experience is a plus but not require

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

·        Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

·        Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, typically demonstrated by 7–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or category management with portfolio responsibility across indirect and/or direct materials.

·        Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, PMP) and experience supporting IT categories (software/SaaS, cloud, hardware, and services) are a plus.
