What will you work on?

Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO), the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across Spin Master's global IT portfolio.

This role operates across a highly matrixed environment, partnering with teams across Finance, Operations, Legal, Audit, Facilities, Toy, Digital Games, and Enterprise IT functions.

This highly visible role partners closely with senior executives, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure disciplined project delivery, effective governance, and alignment to corporate strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with SAP environments, PMO Intake and Gating processes, and experience leveraging Jira and Confluence for governance, tracking, and reporting.


How will you create impact?

  • Lead large-scale, multi-phase IT projects across global business units, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Partner with IT and Business leadership across global business units to define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and KPIs aligned to strategic goals.
  • Drive end-to-end project governance through Spin Master's Intake, Sizing, and Gating process, ensuring all documentation (Business Case, Charter, RAID, Closure Report) meets PMO standards.
  • Manage and track project progress through Jira and Confluence, ensuring transparency, task-level visibility, and accurate reporting for portfolio dashboards.
  • Partner with IT and Business leadership to define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and KPIs aligned to strategic goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of project lifecycle management including planning, execution, change management, and operational handoff.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams on initiatives that integrate or interface with SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise systems.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level status updates, risk summaries, and Steering Committee reporting.
  • Maintain governance artifacts including RAID logs, change requests, and gate review documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO delivery practices, process refinements, and lessons learned to strengthen portfolio performance.


What are your skills and experience?

  • Progressive IT project management experience.
  • PMP certification required (Prince2 or Agile certifications an asset).
  • Experience working with or managing projects that involve SAP S/4HANA or related ERP systems.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives through full lifecycle delivery - from intake and sizing through execution and closeout.
  • Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, or retail environments preferred.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale enterprise technology projects, ideally within or adjacent to SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of PMO governance frameworks, including Intake, Gating, Risk Management, and Change Control.
  • Highly proficient with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project delivery, dashboards, and documentation management.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on project delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to metrics, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $105,000 to $120,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master ltd. is a multi-provincial employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other provinces.
