Job description: Need a Program manager (PM3) to successfully direct, control, administer and regulate a Re-write/Modernization of a software Application based on .NET Technology. The Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive the entire software re-write from Start to Finish and ensure the Final Product meets the business, technical and quality requirements.
Project management Skills:
 
•                          Designs project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones,
 based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel. 
·       Requires a thorough knowledge of Project management Methodology and approaches to incorporate sufficient Collaboration, Transparency and Feedback loops. Ensure that proper Project management processes are followed.
·       Responsible for the development, adjustment, revision of estimates in Planning, Analysis, design, construction, testing and Implementation.
·       Required skills Include Risk and Scope management to be able to define, Monitor and control Scope, budget and timelines especially in High-Risk Modernization scenarios.
·       Strong Interpersonal Skills to keep Sponsors, Developers, Operations and end users aligned and informed of the program management metrics.
·       Most importantly requires a strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability especially to address Technical Debt, Integration Challenges and unforeseen dependencies.
·       Notify team leaders of Project Timelines, Milestones, phases, Work requests, target dates and approved executable work package.
Technical Skills:
·       Requires an understanding of Application Architecture, Refactoring, re-architecting, or rebuilding strategies.
·       Legacy Systems Analysis and Integration points to determine modernization path.
·       Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, Microservices and modern DevOps practices
·       Tool Proficiency: Experience with Project & Portfolio management tools like Clarity PPM, Azure DevOps, SharePoint and other off-the-shelf operational systems.
Experience:
·       Ideally, Past projects that involved legacy system migration, re-factoring or modernization would be highly preferred.7 to 8 years of relevant experience required.
·       Experience leading Teams cross development, operations, security and business needs.
Educational requirements:
·       Education: 4 year college Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or Business with a focus on Technology
·       Certifications: At least One Project Management license like PMP, PMI_ACP required. Other Agile/Scrum certifications can strengthen credibility.
The Position is Hybrid and the hire should be able to come to DCY office in Columbus as needed.
