About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Payroll Consultant (SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll) to support and deliver payroll solutions for our expanding customer base across Australia and New Zealand. This role focuses on end‐to‐end payroll design, configuration, troubleshooting, AU/NZ legislative compliance, and ongoing production support.

You will work closely with the broader SuccessFactors, Integrations, and Finance teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and reliable payroll operations.

This position is open to candidates based in the Philippines (remote) and requires working Australian/New Zealand business hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) for AU/NZ payroll environments.
  • Maintain and enhance payroll schemas, rules (PCRs), wage types, taxation logic, superannuation/KiwiSaver settings, and statutory reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues including replication errors, data inconsistencies, PCC validations, and payroll calculation variances.
  • Support bank file generation, GL posting, CPI integration flows, and third‐party interfaces.
  • Lead payroll testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT), parallel payroll runs, and cutover activities.
  • Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and map needs into SAP best‐practice solutions.
  • Prepare configuration documentation, functional specifications, and user training materials.
  • Provide guidance on AU/NZ payroll legislation, audits, compliance changes, and system optimisation.

Your qualifications and experience

  • Strong, hands‐on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • Clear understanding of AU/NZ payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation/KiwiSaver, and compliance requirements.
  • Solid experience with payroll schemas, rules, PCRs, wage types, and payroll troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting Payroll Control Center (PCC) configuration and validations.
  • Experience working with CPI or other payroll‐related integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‐management skills.
  • 5+ years SAP Payroll experience preferred.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with EC, Time Off, Time Sheet, or broader SuccessFactors modules.
  • Experience with SAP On‐Premise Payroll or migration to ECP.
  • Relevant SAP certifications.
