We are currently looking for a Full Time IT Operations Supervisor to join our IT Service Center Unit 3 team located at the Information Technology working 12:00PM-8:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
IT Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating day-to-day activities, enforcing ITSM standards, and leading the IT operations team. The IT Operations Supervisor is responsible for processes, policy compliance, and reporting status to the IT Operations Manager. The IT Operations Supervisor sets the direction for the operations team to ensure IT services are available to employees and patrons of the Chickasaw Nation.
Responsibilities:
* Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate - files, logs, records, reports, etc.
* Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
* Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
* Maintains knowledge of, follows, and enforces all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Prepares weekly reports
* Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
* Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
- Participates in candidate selection process
- Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
- Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
- Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
- Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
- Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
* Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
* May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
* Establish and enforce ticketing standards
* Identifies, researches, and resolves application-related issues by responding to tickets created in the Incident Management System in a timely manner
* Create and enforce workflow processes
* Develops and maintains formal procedures for Analyst's and Engineers to consistently deliver and increase productivity
* Work with service desk, Lan/Wan, Systems Administration, Applications Support, and other IT groups to streamline user-facing Client Services
* Evaluate ITSM metrics to increase efficiency
* Enforce service level agreement standards
* Develop and/or utilize the program management information system, and integrate different processes as needed, to manage program information and communicate status to stakeholders
* Develop technology roadmaps aligned with the roadmap of The Chickasaw Nation
* Analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions within the IT Client Services realm
* Write functional requirements and specification documentation
* Develop and execute detailed timelines for project implementation
* Performs all other duties as assigned
