Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Systems Administrator to support the networking, operational technology, and infrastructure that keeps our warehouse and business running. This is a field-oriented role - expect to work with switches, firewalls, cabling, printers, handhelds, manufacturing and warehouse systems, not a traditional help desk.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Some weekend availability required for maintenance windows or critical issues.
The IT Operations Engineer is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure: switching, cabling, VLANs, wireless, and device connectivity
  • Support firewalls, remote access, and infrastructure systems (Palo Alto, Dell switching)
  • Maintain production facing equipment: printers, handheld devices, workstations, and scanners
  • Perform physical infrastructure work: tracing cable, validating ports, replacing hardware, supporting moves/adds/changes
  • Support Microsoft server and desktop environments as they relate to connectivity and operations
  • Assist with remote management, endpoint visibility, and operational monitoring
  • Follow warehouse safety standards when working around equipment, lifts, and ladders

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in systems administration, network support, or infrastructure support
  • Solid understanding of switching, DNS, DHCP, wireless, and physical network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with firewalls, remote management tools, and endpoint infrastructure
  • Foundational Windows desktop and Windows Server knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude; comfortable working in active operational environments
  • VmWare, Google Workspace, Linux, macOS, Android/iOS experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of ip camera and access control systems a plus
  • Safety-conscious with awareness of OSHA-standard work practices
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment is preferred
  • Associates degree or advanced certifications required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
