Job description

Coeus Consulting is seeking a personable, detail-oriented *Technology Alignment Manager (TAM)*. This is a process-driven, client-facing onsite position.
This is an *assessment, documentation, and standards-alignment role*. You will visit client sites on a scheduled cadence to review technology environments against Coeus standards, document findings, correct simple alignment items when time and scope allow, and flag larger misalignments for the appropriate internal teams.
This role helps clients stay organized, informed, and aligned with Coeusโ€™s documented standards. Success comes from structure, accuracy, emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider based in Phoenix, AZ, serving SMB clients across the Southwest. If youโ€™re organized, professional, and love interacting with people, this role offers a path into one of the most important seats in our Technology Success framework.
What Youโ€™ll Do
* Conduct scheduled onsite technology alignment visits using Coeus Consultingโ€™s standardized checklists, documented standards, and review process.
* Identify standards gaps, configuration drift, and technical risk; document findings clearly; and collaborate with the vCIO and internal teams on recommended follow-up.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with client contacts, from end users to executives.
* Serve as the face of Coeus onsite by bringing professionalism, empathy, clear communication, and a steady presence to every client visit.
* Verify that monitoring tools, backups, and system configurations are functioning as expected.
* Maintain accurate working knowledge of each clientโ€™s systems, applications, and infrastructure through structured reviews and documentation.
* Create, update, and maintain accurate documentation, including missing records, outdated information, alignment findings, and client environment details.
* Participate in internal standards meetings to help refine Coeus standards and improve the alignment process over time.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
* 2+ years of experience at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar client-facing IT environment.
* Strong business and interpersonal communication skills โ€” ability and confidence to explain technical issues in business terms to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong organization and attention to detail โ€” you enjoy structure, process, and following checklists accurately.
* Working knowledge of IT concepts as they relate to business (Microsoft 365, networking, security basics)
* Reliable, professional, and proactive โ€” you represent Coeus at client sites daily.
* Self-starter mentality โ€” highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering measurable outcomes.
What We Would Appreciate
* Experience performing site reviews, audits, or compliance checks in an MSP or similar environment.
* Familiarity with Technology Alignment frameworks.
* Experience working with MSP tools (Autotask, Datto RMM, IT Glue, etc).
* Understanding of security, backup, and documentation best practices.
* Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ / Security+, Microsoft 365, or Cisco CCNA.
