POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

The Manager, Construction Technologies is a people leader who drives operational consistency and technology adoption across project teams, acting as a hybrid project manager, construction technologist, and business process owner. Serving as the primary liaison for Operations, this role bridges platform capabilities with real-world field use by collaborating to optimize workflows and scale standardized practices. The Manager position pairs deep field operations knowledge with the ability to manage deployments, mentor staff, and evolve enterprise platform strategies while ensuring the day-to-day success of construction technology solutions.

ESSENTIALJOBDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop a team of Construction Technologies professionals across multiple projects and regions.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for construction management technologies platforms.

  • Maintain a high level of proficiency with the organization's systems to support users and guide continuous improvement.

  • Lead the development and documentation of best practices for technology use across the field and project teams.

  • Drive operational consistency by standardizing workflows and ensuring technology solutions align with project execution needs

  • Act as an escalation point for project teams, resolving high-impact operational or technology challenges

  • Partner with both Shared Services departments to ensure systems integrations support company-wide business processes

  • Regularly visit project sites to build relationships, assess field needs, and support training or technology adoption

  • Collaborate with Operations, vendors, Shared Services, and the CM Ops IS group to lead rollouts and enhancement projects

  • Support evaluation, piloting, and deployment of new construction technology tools

  • Gather feedback from users and prioritize enhancements based on operational impact

  • Monitor team performance and help define career growth plans for direct reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in the field of Construction Management, Engineering, Business or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in construction operations, technology enablement, or digital transformation.

  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role, ideally within a construction or technology team.

  • Proven Experience standardizing workflows and governing construction management platforms (e.g. Procore) at scale.

  • Experience with prevalent ERP platforms (e.g. CMiC, Oracle, Sage 300) is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of field workflows, including document management, RFIs, submittals, quality, safety, and scheduling.

  • Knowledge of cost control processes related to construction, such as management of contracts, budgets, change orders, etc.

  • Experience with portfolio management, budgeting, and vendor management

  • Analytical, outcome-focused approach with the ability to define KPIs, interpret trends, and drive corrective actions.

  • Interpersonal and coaching skills; experience managing cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and influence diverse project teams.

  • Problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset for improving construction processes and technology utilization.
