Job description

Job Title: Lead Mitigation Technician
Compensation: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekends as needed | On-call rotation once per month


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Mitigation Technician to oversee residential and commercial mitigation projects from start to finish. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise in water, fire, and mold mitigation, along with the ability to manage crews, documentation, and customer communication effectively.


Compensation amp; Benefits
  • Hourly Pay: $23.00 – $25.00

  • After-Hours Incentives (Residential amp; Commercial Jobs):

    • $50 bonus for 1st and 2nd after-hours job

    • $75 per job for 3 or more after-hours jobs
      (Paid in addition to hourly rate)

  • Monthly Phone Allowance: $50

  • Insurance: Eligible after 90 days of employment

  • Overtime opportunities available


Key ResponsibilitiesProject amp; Communication Management
  • Ensure project documentation is provided to office staff and Mitigation Project Manager (work authorizations, Certificates of Completion, dry logs, etc.)

  • Communicate project scope, target start dates, and completion timelines with customers and internal team

  • Obtain adjuster contact information and provide to Mitigation Project Manager

  • Communicate scope of work with Mitigation Project Manager and Technicians

  • Coordinate job requirements and scheduling with technicians

  • Ensure work is completed in a timely manner

  • Complete project inspection forms on assigned projects

  • Ensure clear and professional communication (verbal and written) with office staff, project manager, and technicians

  • Manage customer satisfaction and represent the brand with professionalism

Production amp; Technical Duties
  • Perform water mitigation duties

  • Perform fire mitigation duties

  • Perform mold remediation duties

  • Perform demolition as required

  • Effectively perform all aspects of production processes

  • Ensure monitoring is completed daily

  • Ensure dry logs are completed daily

  • Always leave job sites clean and orderly

  • Load and unload equipment and supplies

Equipment amp; Facility Oversight
  • Preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment

  • Oversight of facility maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness of products and equipment to the highest standard

  • Follow and enforce all uniform and policy guidelines in line with the Brand Identity Guide

Additional Expectations
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours/emergency calls

  • Continue development of production skills and expertise

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of mitigation/restoration experience preferred

  • Leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred

  • Experience in water, fire, and mold mitigation

  • IICRC certifications preferred (not required)

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
