As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop test methods, analyze performance data, and support product development efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to apply engineering coursework in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while gaining valuable industry experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Product Testing & Validation
  • Assist in developing and setting up tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of new HVAC components, including motors, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
  • Support product qualification and validation activities through hands-on testing and data collection.
  • Document test procedures, results, and findings to support engineering decisions.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve product performance and reliability.
Data Analysis & Engineering Tools
  • Analyze engineering test data to identify trends, performance issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop Python-based tools and scripts to automate data analysis and reporting.
  • Create visualizations and summaries that help engineers make data-driven decisions.
  • Support modeling and analysis activities related to product performance.
Cost & Product Improvement Initiatives

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.50 – $25.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
