JOB SUMMARY

Provides technical support, conducts data analysis and applies knowledge of engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff. Types of tasks include test and evaluation, test support, logistics, sustainment, operations analyses, manufacturing product assurance, technical studies, and various analyses and support activities including cost/price, human factors, DRAFT AEDC PWS Attachment 1 Page 75 of 76 CUI safety, program/system security, FMS/Arms Export, command and control, intelligence, reliability and maintainability (R&M), quality assurance (QA), and technical and engineering capability to ensure operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness. Systems requiring support include, but are not limited to, aircraft, aerial targets, air combat training equipment, global positioning equipment, air base operability equipment, munitions, missiles, electronics, explosives, bombs, warheads, fuzes, guns, ammunition and AF Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Level 2 - This skill level requires up to 3 years of experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in the applicable discipline. This skill level is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.ย 

SECURITY CLEARANCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a minimum of an active U.S. TOP SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.ย 
  • Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
  • Do you have the ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE? (Pertains to Technical Services positions)ย
