These roles are often project-based and may be needed to address a specific documentation need, product launch, or to cover for permanent staff during absences. Temporary technical writers must quickly learn about the company’s processes and tools, and deliver clear, concise content within tight deadlines. • Facilitate prioritization discussions across competing initiatives, balancing business value, technical debt, operational risk, regulatory requirements, and engineering capacity.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps with executive-level insights and guidance and align with erring and architecture teams to prioritize product features.
  • Research technology product domains, understand operation in large enterprises, and inform buy, build, partner decisions.
  • Represent the product portfolio in executive forums.
