Technical Writer / Marketing Coordinator

Location: Mineola, NY - On Site

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, edit, and coordinate technical proposals, RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, and interview presentations.
  • Develop compelling proposal content that highlights the firm's qualifications and project experience.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to gather project information, resumes, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and update proposal libraries, project descriptions, and marketing materials.
  • Assist with branding, website content, brochures, award submissions, and social media.
  • Ensure all proposal documents are accurate, compliant, and submitted by deadline.
  • Collaborate with leadership on business development initiatives and strategic pursuits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ yearsof technical writing and proposal experience, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Proven experience responding to public-sector RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Adobe Creative Suite and proposal management software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with New York public agencies, municipalities, or higher education clients.
  • Familiarity with construction management, engineering, or professional consulting services.
  • Experience creating marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content.
